Introducing Daisy

Come and meet precious little Daisy!

Daisy spent the first seven years of her life as a "breeding machine" in a puppymill. She was stained with seven years-worth of urine when she joined our WRC family. Even after two baths, she was still badly stained. Daisy has a number of medical problems and WRC is launching a special fundraising drive for her.

Westie Rescue of Canada (WRC) is an all-volunteer organization which has been dedicated to helping homeless Westies find their new and forever homes in Canada since 1999. Our organization takes in any and all Westies that need a new home. We will not turn a Westie away for any reason, and we will do everything in our power to ensure that the Westie has a quality of life that it deserves, regardless of cost or effort. WRC is an independent organization who works very diligently to raise funds for the care and assistance of all rescued Westies who come into our care.

WRC is a not-for-profit, national Westie rescue organization, founded and run by volunteers, to help homeless and displaced Westies find permanent and loving new homes.

WRC is funded entirely by private donations and fundraising efforts by the volunteers with the organization.

This is a voice mail only number, however it is checked at least once a day. Please be sure to include as much information as you can - name, address, phone number and details about the Westie(s). And/or, complete our Westie in Need form.

Please do NOT complete the Westie in Need form if you are looking to adopt/foster a Westie, as you will not receive a response. This "hotline" form is purely to be used to report a Westie in crisis.

Please do NOT contact us if you are looking for breeders. WRC is not a breeder-referral service and as such, will not provide names of breeders, nor will recommend any breeders.
