3rd Annual WRC Westie
Walk of Toronto - Page 2
-
Kathleen Barry is the chairperson
for the Toronto Westie Walk. Here are Kathleen's Westies
Each year Tamara and Chris
Chipperfield help to organize
the walk.
Bill and his lovely wife
pose for the camera, while Brodie checks
Cody and Westley. Cody had wanted a Westie brother after meeting a a neighbour's Westie near where they live. Cody's mom, Carol, contacted WRC to see if there were any Westies available for adoption. WRC were looking for a very
special permanent-care home for Westley, as he had been diagnosed with
Addison's
Disease, and nobody wanted to adopt a Westie with a chronic disease
and who would be on medication for the rest of his life. It was a perfect
match ... Westley got a new home, Westley is just one of our
rescue success stories.
Karen and her friend are wearing matching purple scarves with their name on. Unfortunately the photographer forgot the name of her friend. Here they are with dad.
Isn't Tara precious? She is just 4 months old!
Maggie impressed everybody
with her dancing trick; she can spin for a treat and her dad
Here are Norm Townley's four beautiful girls. His hands were full!
Four beautiful ladies!
This friend was really excited with all the Westies running around.
Islay was a bit shy; perhaps too many dogs, looking like her, at the same place, at the same time.
